An Orange Tie Affair

Weekend brunches are a CULTURAL INSTITUTION in New York. This week we wanted to tell you about BrunchCritic's upcoming 3rd Signature Orange Brunch Gala on Sunday, March 6th. The dress code makes this event unique: you MUST wear at least a splash of ORANGE. The Gala will feature a scrumptious menu from seven of New York City's top brunch spots plus an oyster bar. 100% of the profits will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Who wouldn't want to spend a Sunday afternoon with unlimited cocktails, yummy brunch bites, a live band and 300 guests in orange tie all while donating to a excellent cause?

A Howling Brunch

We met our PARTY SOULMATE last month! Our new friend, Meng, loves to host parties just as much as the twins do! This week we wanted to share her lovely brunch with you. Meng hosted a delicious bottomless brunch and introduced many of us to the party game Werewolf. Brunch in New York is no ORDINARY meal. It is an occasion to feast on yummy breakfast foods in the afternoon, sip on delicious cocktails and catch up with close friends. Sometimes brunch at home can be even more fun than your typical experience at a restaurant.

Eat, Drink and Be Mine!

Happy Valentine's Day! Friends, significant others and spouses often exchange cards, flowers and/or gifts on this holiday, BUT we thought it would be more fun to host a cookie decorating party. Because I am the closest thing to Martha Stewart amongst my girlfriends, they were quite eager to put on their baking hats and assist me in the kitchen. If you want to bake some Valentine's Day treats for the special people in your life, you will need a heart shaped cookie cutter, a tasty sugar cookie recipe and pink, red, and white glaze icing. If you want to go the extra mile, you can also add sprinkles and pearls.

Ready Set Toga!

Were you more excited to watch the game or the commercials on Super Bowl Sunday? For the big game, we prefer to host or attend a house party. This year, we were invited to a Super Bowl Toga Party! We even managed to add a little TWINSPIRATION with our football cupcakes.
