Yield: 1 cocktail
Ingredients
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup (1 cup sugar / 1 cup water)
  • 0.5 oz french lemon juice
  • 1 oz gin
  • 3 oz champagne 
Directions
  1. Make simple syrup by boiling 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water and allow to cool
  2. Add all the ingredients except the champagne to a shaker and fill with ice
  3. Shake well and strain into a champagne flute
  4. Top with the champagne and garnish with a lemon twist
