You don’t have to travel to Colorado, Utah or Vermont this winter to après ski in a cozy ski lodge. You can stay in NYC and head over to the Mondrian Alpine Terrace by Club Med, which is conveniently located on the 15th floor of the Mondrian Park Avenue. We were invited to the exclusive launch of this winter wonderland last week. We sampled chalet-inspired bites, sipped sparkling Rosé, savored ski themed cocktails, listened to the beats of DJ Jonny Laz and snapped whimsical photos in the ski chair photo booth. We are excited to share our NYC après ski shenanigans with you.
The Mondrian Terrace is a hidden gem, perched 15 stories high in the Nomad neighborhood. This rooftop lounge features breathtaking views of Nomad as well the downtown skyline. In the summer, the rooftop was transformed into a chic Rosé Terrace. Last week, Club Med and Chandelier Events turned the rooftop into a cozy Alpine Terrace, which is inspired by Club Med’s 17 all-inclusive ski resorts in the Alpine regions of Europe.
The whimsical deer table centerpieces, fake snow, skis and chair lift photo booth transport you to your favorite ski lodge.
The Mondrian Alpine Terrace by Club Med features several signature winter cocktails, including Snowballs Chance in Hell and Chalet Mulled Wine and comfort dishes, including Swiss Raclette Fondue, Winter Truffle Grilled Cheese and French Onion Beef Sliders.
We snapped many photos in the whimsical ski chair photo booth.
The photobooth will also text you GIFs from the event.
Head over to the Mondrian Alpine Terrace by Club Med for some fabulous après ski in NYC. It is the perfect venue for happy hours, date nights or ladies nights. The terrace will be open Monday-Thursday at 4 pm, Friday at 2 pm and weekends at noon this winter.
