Ladies, gather around and slip into those stylish stilettos because this year is all about embracing the fabulousness of Girlsgiving. Our time-honored tradition of Friendsgiving is hitting its impressive ninth year. This time, we elevated the festivities with a vibrant splash of pink. We created a delectable pink and orange culinary journey for our girlfriends. Let the laughter echo and the bonds strengthen as we revel in another spectacular Friendsgiving.
Girlsgiving: Transforming Autumn Colors into Barbie Blush
Pinksgiving. We swapped traditional browns and oranges for luscious shades of pink, orange and gold. Our dining room morphed into a Barbie paradise that set the stage for a night of absolute girly perfection. We created an opulent tablescape with feminine decorations to craf our a girlsgiving atmosphere.

The Girlsgiving: Crafting a Pink and Orange Dreamland
Turkin’ 9 to 5. Now, let us spill the tea on our secret weapon for creating a truly immersive Girlsgiving experience – the backdrop! We added white and orange drapes to cascade behind our beautiful pink table. We turned our dining room into a whimsical wonderland where Barbie would undoubtedly feel right at home.
The Girlsgiving: Styling a Pink and Orange Tablescape
I’m a doll but I still want to party. The star of the show was a gorgeous pink petal tablecloth, paired with a whimsical white rosette tablerunner. At each place setting, we laid out a dazzling place setting with a gold charger plate, a white pristine plate, a charming pumpkin plate, all accompanied by gold flatware, sparkling flutes, and crystal water glasses.

Let’s give ’em pumpkin to talk about. We scattered mini pumpkins in a delightful array of pink, gold, white, and orange to add more feminine accents to the table. The table decor also featured magenta and orange spray roses in small bud vases. To add some sparkle, we sprinkled gold speckled votives and twinkling lights. Barbie herself would’ve been proud to dine at our dreamy table!

Girlsgiving: Toast the Night with Rosé Champagne and White Merlot
Let’s get fizzical. Girlsgiving isn’t just a celebration; it’s a toast to the extraordinary. What better way to kick off the festivities than with a glass of the finest pink elixir, Moet Rosé Champagne. This bubbly set the stage for an evening filled with laughter, fun and a dose of pink-induced euphoria.

To lifelong friend-sips. We also sipped on a chilled glass of Bon Ami brut. The delicate flavors of berry in the wine perfectly balanced the exquisite tartness of the cranberry brie tart. This pairing was nothing short of a symphony on the palate, where each note of flavor played in concert, creating a sensory masterpiece that elevated our Pinksgiving.

The most winederful time of the year. Now let’s talk about the wine we paired with our turkey: Kontekosta’s White Merlot. Now, we’ll be honest; we aren’t usually the biggest Merlot enthusiasts, but this bottle defied all expectations. We tried this wine during our trip to the Kontekosta winery in the North Fork. This White Merlot was the perfect accompaniment to our turkey course with all the traditional sides.

Girlsgiving: Tartfully Yours
Will you brie mine? Hold onto your appetites because the opening act of our Girlsgiving feast was nothing short of a sensation! We started our meal with a cranberry brie tart with caramelized onions and thyme. The dish treated our taste buds to a flawless fusion of sweet, savory, and cheesy perfection.

You stole my tart. This tart was so divine that even Barbie herself would be reaching out for the recipe – a masterpiece that set the tone for the mouthwatering culinary journey. We served this delicious fall appetizer on our adorable pumpkin plates.

Girlsgiving: The Turkey and Traditional Sides
50 shades of gravy. How it’s time for the main course to take center stage. Here’s shortcut. Go to Whole Foods and get their pre-seasoned turkey breast. We put the 4 pound turkey in the oven for approximately 80 min. As a rule of thumb, it should take 20 minutes per pound in the oven. The classic Thanksgiving turkey is dressed to perfection and accompanied by the most decadent gravy you could ever imagine. The turkey was artfully arranged on a bed of arugula, punctuated by bursts of cranberries, and fragrantly garnished with sprigs of rosemary and thyme.

Everyday I’m brusselin’. Alongside the bird, we had perfectly roasted Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts added an earthy and sophisticated side dish to our vibrant Girlsgiving feast.

Much ado about stuffing. For stuffing, we aimed for a masterpiece that tasted like it took hours but came together quicker than a drumroll. We used Trader Joe’s Stuffing Mix and in a mere 15 minutes, their magical mix, brimming with herbs and spices, transformed our kitchen into a culinary playground. It wasn’t just about saving time; it was about creating an easy stuffing that tasted like it was crafted with love and hours of kitchen dedication, rivaling even Grandma’s most treasured recipe. We served our culinary creation in a whimsical pumpkin bowl, adorned with sprigs of thyme. It was a feast for the eyes and the palate alike.

Talk about ‘mash’ appeal! Our guest, Matilda, prepared herbed mashed potatoes. We loved the velvety-smooth texture of the potatoes, which were infused with fresh dill. We served the potatoes in our ivory pumpkin bowl.

Let’s spill the beans. Matilda also prepared a green bean side dish, which was also served in another ivory pumpkin bowl. The crispy green beans were the epitome of freshness. Each bite delivered a satisfying snap.

Let’s cran-k up the flavor! Our last side dish was cranberry sauce, the unsung hero of Girlsgiving. This side dish added a zing that echoed through every bite. More than just a saucy affair, it brought a burst of sweet-tart brilliance to the feast. We served the cranberry sauce in a small ivory pumpkin bowl.

Girlsgiving: Desserts That Made Barbie Proud
I carrot about you. We rounded out our Girlsgiving feast with a carrot cake adorned with fall chocolate toppers. For the baking enthusiasts in the house, we’ve got a mouthwatering carrot cake recipe too. Whether you go for the store-bought or bake from scratch, the carrot cake magic is guaranteed to be a hit.

Let’s get smashed. We served our carrot cake on our pumpkin plates. It was a match made in Girlsgiving heaven. The charming pumpkin plates not only added a touch of seasonal flair but also harmonized flawlessly with the warm tones of the carrot cake. The right plates can elevate the dining experience to a whole new level.

It’s berry good. Our friend, Stacey, prepared an exquisite berry crumble. The crumble was a delectable medley of sweet and tart berries beneath a golden, buttery crust. It was delicious and left us reaching for seconds.

Coco-amore. Behold the pièce de résistance – beautiful chocolate-shaped roses by Choco Gala in a delightful bouquet box that’s almost too beautiful to unwrap. More than just a sweet gesture, these chocolate delights were a symphony of flavor. The cocoa-petals revealed layers of velvety richness, offering a sweet reprieve to our taste buds. The roses are available in a variety of flavors: Milk, White, Caramel, Berry, Strawberry and Blueberry.

Because you know I’m all about that baste. Our Girlsgiving was a blast from the pink and orange heavens! From the stunning tablescape to the mouthwatering homemade bites, every detail of the evening was uniquely special and downright enjoyable. It wasn’t just a dinner; it was a celebration, and Barbie herself would’ve given it the royal stamp of approval.
