Can’t weight for gyms to reopen? We may have lost access to our gym, but we gained access to the world outdoors. We’ve been running and walking a lot to stay fit. We’ve also been using P.volve for toning and recovery. We are excited to share our running and recovery routine with you.
Most people are working from home and spending most of the day indoors. As such, it’s important to schedule pockets of time to workout and be active. We start our day with a morning run or walk and end with a P.volve workout. Running can be quite intense on the body. If you are running regularly, you need to stretch before and after your run.
What is P.volve and How to Get Fit at Home?
We’ve been working out with P.volve for about 18 months. Unlike high intensity interval training, which we have done for years, P.volve focuses on targeted toning and small movements. The exercises are low impact with high intensity. If you are new to P.volve, check out the P.volve section of our blog. There are over 200 on-demand workouts in the P.volve app. We prefer to stream the app to our TV, but we’ve also use the app on our smartphone and laptop. P.volve has a variety of proprietary equipment that amplify their exercises. For an advanced P.volve workout, consider the Total Transformation Kit
How to Workout with P.Volve’s Recovery Series?
For a stretching focused workout, we recommend P.volve’s recovery series with the foam roller and mat. We never stretch enough even when we had access to our gym. We generally stretched at the end of our fitness classes, which usually lasted about 5 minutes. Now we are more focused on stretching, which helps us be more active and run longer distances.
The P.volve mat has a detachable strap, which makes it easy to carry to the park or a studio (whenever those open).
The mat provides durable, cushiony support. It’s soft and comfortable for elbows and knees. It’s also light and compact for easy storage.
The foam roller is lightweight, compact and versatile. You can use it on the upper and lower part of the body. The rollers added ridges stretch and relax the muscles.
After 18 months of P.volve, we’ve noticed more muscle definition, improved posture and increased hip and shoulder mobility. We’ve also enjoyed the Recovery series and are trying to stretch on a more regular basis. We recommend you give P.volve‘s recovery series a try and use P.volve to stay fit at home.
Working out gives you time to work on yourself physically and mentally
