New year, healthier you. Are you still without a gym? Has the cold weather made it much harder to run outside? Working on our fitness and wellness goals is a priority since January 1st. We are in the midst of a dry January and limiting sugar and gluten consumption. We have been skiing and using P.volve’s streaming services. P.volve is a safe, functional movement-based method that elongates muscles and builds strength. We are excited to share how we workout with P.volve at home in 2021.
Working out with P.volve at Home
Since we gave up the gym for the foreseeable future, we created an at-home routine with P.volve. P.volve focuses on targeted toning and small movements. The exercises are low impact with high intensity. P.volve has 27 workout series in their fitness app, ranging from beginner to advanced. We’ve been streaming their services for eighteen months and we took classes at their Soho studio before the pandemic.
How the P.volve App Works?
If you are new to P.volve, check out the P.volve section of our blog. We have written about all of their proprietary equipment. There are over 500 on-demand workouts in the P.volve app, ranging from 15-60 minutes. You can select workouts by length of time, type of required equipment and area of focus. We like to stream the app to our TV.
What is P.volve’s Proprietary Equipment?
P.volve has a variety of proprietary equipment that amplify their exercises. They also have no equipment workouts or you can modify exercises and do the workouts without the equipment. If you are new to P.volve, consider the Starter Kit. This introductory kit includes: P-ball, P-band, heavy ankle band, ankle weights and gliders. We highly recommend them for targeted toning. For a more advanced workout consider the Total Transformation Kit . You’ll be able to do almost every workout with this kit!
We’ve never seen anything quite like the patented, revolutionary inflatable P-ball. We use it for both upper and lower body workouts. For lower body workouts, you put it on like a pair of pants and it activates the glutes, thighs and core. It feels awkward and even more awkward to photograph it. However, your legs are going to feel fantastic after a few weeks with it.
The heavy ankle band helps to open the hips and strengthen the hard-to-reach muscles in the lower body. You can use it stand alone or pair it with P-band or light dumbbells.
The P-band is our absolute favorite piece of equipment. Our back and arms are one of our problem areas. The P-band‘s glove-like technology helps us elongate our arms and tone our backs.
Last up are the ankle weights and gliders. The ankle weights amplify ever step, lift and movement, while the gliders lengthen and strengthen our legs.
This year, give P.volve a try and amplify your workouts at home. These exercises increased our muscle definition, improved our posture and increased our hip and shoulder mobility. We are hosting a giveaway with P.volve for the Starter Kit. Follow our Instagram for details and stay safe and workout with P.volve at home in 2021.
My New Year’s resolution is to stick to a good workout plan that will keep me healthy and happy.
