Oktoberfest is a cultural phenomenon in Munich, Bavaria Germany. Don’t worry! You don’t have to travel all the way to Munich to enjoy Oktoberfest. Zum Schneider, a Bavarian Bierhaus and German Restaurant, annually hosts Munich on the East River in New York. This is one of the most authentic celebrations outside of Munich. We enjoyed the festival so much last year that we decided to attend it again this year.
This year marks the 184th Oktoberfest, which runs from September 16 through October 3rd in Munich (September 29 through October 8th at Zum Schneider in NYC). Oktoberfest originally took place in October, but as it grew and the duration was extended, the start date was moved to mid-September. This allows for better weather and a more enjoyable experience for festival attendees.
Upon entry, you’ll be instantly transported to Bavaria.
We highly recommend Reserved Seating inside the tent and purchasing tickets under a group name so that your party can be seated together. You can purchase tickets here.
The tent will be open on:
September 29 through October 8th
24-20 Fdr Drive Service Rd
New York, NY, 10010
Tickets:

VIP Seating $100
