Forget the glass slipper, real princesses wear running shoes! We tried P.volve for the first time last year and never looked back. We’ve been using their streaming services regularly and were excited to work out with the P.3 trainer. We are excited to share the latest P.volve updates with you.
P.volve is a safe, functional movement-based method that elongates muscles and builds strength. We visited their Soho studio last year. We added their streaming sessions to our weekly workout routines. P.volve’s resistance-based, low-impact training method strengthens, sculpts and tones targeted muscles. This workout complements the HIIT and cardio sessions that we’ve been doing for years.
P.volve’s proprietary equipment consists of the P.3 trainer, P-ball and P-band. This year, they created the Summit 60 Challenge. We recommend the Transformation Kit which includes the proprietary pieces plus resistance bands, ankle weights, light dumbbells, slant board, foam roller and gliders. If you are on a tight budget or short on space, you can also consider the Essentials Kit. If you have hard wood floors, we recommend the glider gloves (so you don’t scratch your floors).
The P.3 trainer uses resistance training to span the entire length of the body with two, ankle straps, an attachable handle and attachable 1.5-lb ball. This dynamic revolutionary system targets the arms, legs and abs and you can use it while standing up or on the mat.
The P-ball is a small inflated ball that targets the upper inner-thighs. To put on the P-ball, unhook the clips and hook them at your ankles. Then bring up the P-ball to your thighs. One of the fundamental moves is the P. Sit, which feels like the first step of a squat.
The P-band resembles a resistance band for your arms with a glove-like design. The P-band strengthens and tones your arm and back muscles. Most of the exercises involve 8 reps. The P. band will target small muscle groups. Be prepared to feel the burn.
The Summit 60 Challenge is an 8-week program to kickstart your 2020 fitness and wellness goals. Oh wow I heard it for the first time. Would love to go to a gym like this. I am struggling to have a flat tummy, joined my office gym for the same. Hope I had this kind of gym nearby.
