Ingredients
  

Pear and Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • 1 Cup of White Sugar
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 Sprig of Rosemary
Cocktail:
  • 2 Oz Empress 1908 Gin
  • 1 Oz Pear and Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 1 Oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Oz Tonic Water
  • Ice
  • Garnishes: Lemon Slices and Rosemary Sprigs

Method
 

  1. Combine water and sugar in a sauce pan
  2. Slice pear
  3. Add pear and rosemary to the sauce pan and stir for 5 minutes
  4. Allow the simple syrup to cool; store in refrigerator
  5. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
  6. Add Empress 1908 Gin, Tonic Water, Lemon Juice and Tonic Water to the cocktail shaker
  7. Shake, shake, shake
  8. Fill a glass with ice and pour the cocktail
  9. Add the garnishes
