Bone appetite. Our three course meal began with chips and homemade guacamole. This recipe is so easy to make. Avocado, onion, tomatoes, jalepeno and lime juice plus salt and pepper.
Hey baby, taco walk on the wild side. For the mains, we served swordfish tacos with pineapple guacamole. The pineapple adds a touch of sweetness to the guacamole. No need to make a second batch of guac. Just chop up some fresh pineapple and mix with some of the guacamole made for the chips. We were inspired by the amazing guacamole with pineapple pico de gallo we recently had at Rosa Mexicano.
Whisk me away. For dessert, we made mini Tres Leches with Whipped Cream and Dulce de Leche.
Day of the Dead Party Ideas: What To Wear?
We wore black dresses and spiked floral crowns from Dora Marra. We also applied the traditional Day of the Dead makeup. It is a lot easier than it looks. If you have a black or dark gray creme shadow crayon and black liner, you’re half way there. We did the sugar skull makeup for the first time last year.
