A little wind in the sails. A little sparkle in the glass. Prosecco DOC is bringing Italian excellence to the open water through its partnership with Shockwave³, a 90-foot racing yacht with some impressive finishes to its name. Think Mediterranean racecourses, a crew working in sync and victories worth celebrating. Having previously partnered with Prosecco DOC on everyday wins and National Spritz Day, we loved discovering another side of its story. Our collaborations involved a rooftop and a friendly spritz debate. This one involves a racing yacht. There is room for all three.
PROSECCO DOC AND SAILING: A WINNING PAIRING
Our sailing agenda usually includes admiring the view and deciding what’s for lunch. Aboard Shockwave³, the itinerary is a little more ambitious. The crew reads the wind, adjusts to changing conditions and works together toward the finish line. Everyone has a role, and every detail matters. That same care and teamwork goes into Prosecco DOC, making the pairing feel perfectly natural.
Through Shockwave³, Prosecco DOC brings a taste of northeastern Italy to racecourses around the world. Along the way, the yacht becomes a place to meet, share stories and make connections. We may do most of our hosting on dry land, but beautiful destinations and bringing people together are very much our department. We can get on board with that.

PROSECCO DOC SHOCKWAVE³: A RECORD WORTH TOASTING
Prosecco DOC Shockwave³ crossed first at the 2026 Brindisi–Corfu International Regatta, completing 104 nautical miles in 6 hours, 23 minutes and 57 seconds. That finish broke a record that had stood for 21 years. Next came the AEGEAN 600, where the yacht finished first again, just 2 minutes and 9 seconds ahead of Aiolos after 605 nautical miles. Apparently, this boat did not come to sightsee.

PROSECCO DOC: SAILS, SUPPERS AND SHARED MOMENTS
Venice, Trieste, the Mediterranean. The yacht’s itinerary is giving us ideas. Prosecco DOC brings people together through racing, local culture and experiences like Maxi On Cooking Star, where Michelin-starred chefs take the helm before competing in the kitchen. A sailing competition with a dinner component? Finally, a sporting event where we have strong opinions about the menu.
OUR PROSECCO DOC MOMENTS: ROOFTOP TO SPRITZ O’CLOCK
Our celebrations happen a little closer to shore. For our Everyday Wins partnership with Prosecco DOC, we took the party upstairs: rooftop views, Italian bites and golden hour after a workday. The occasion? We were done answering emails. Sometimes that deserves the good glasses.
For National Spritz Day, we held a sister sip-off. Kanchana picked the pink Rosa Spritz. Archana chose the minty, floral Hugo Spritz. Both featured Prosecco DOC, and agreeing on one was never going to happen. Watch us make both, then tell us whose glass you want.
SAILING AHEAD: THE NEXT ITALIAN CHAPTER
Naples on the horizon. In 2027, Italy will host the Louis Vuitton Cup and the America’s Cup Match for the first time, bringing another major chapter of competitive sailing to Italian waters. It is a fitting backdrop for a story about sport, culture and connection. Through sailing, Prosecco DOC celebrates the preparation behind the performance and the people who make the journey possible. We can’t wait to continue celebrating the rest of the year with Prosecco Doc.
