Grab your picnic baskets and get outside because picnic season has begun! Our friend, Stephanie, is moving to Florida and our friend, Amanda, organized an impromptu farewell picnic in Central Park. We are excited to share our day with you.
Most Twinspirational events are meticulously planned from the flowers, to the color palette, to the garnishes on the drinks. With a spontaneous picnic, you just need a little TWINSPIRATION to have a memorable day.
We recommend the basics: blankets, baskets and BOOZE! We prepared a simple cheese plate with brie, goat cheese, hummus, fresh baguette, pita chips and fig jam. We also brought along a wooden cutting board, cheese knives and cheese labels. If we had more time, we would have added fruit and nuts to add more texture and color.
We sipped on champagne and sparkling rosé in plastic champagne flutes.
Cheers Stephanie! Good luck in Florida.

Looks like a nice spot for a picnic! I need to get a basket, and do something like this with my family.
What a great going away party! I haven’t done a good picnic in a long time. It’s still wayyyyy too hot in SE Texas, but I’ll have to plan a picnic with my kids when the weather cools off. Good luck to your friend on the move to Florida… I am working on getting back to Florida in a couple of years, too!
This looks like such a fun afternoon! Could you share the link to your basket!? It’s sooo cute! I need one before summer ends!
Great picnic suggestions. A little bit crowded for my taste. I am more of a wild, untouched nature guy. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like you had a fun day. Since I tend to be introverted, this is probably not something I’d do.
This looks like a lovely going away picnic. Cheers to Stephanie and her move to Florida!
What a great day you guys had! I love picnicking but haven’t managed to get out on one this Summer yet! We did have a lovely picnic in April though with all our friends

Awww! You are the sweetest friends. This is a fab idea and the perfect farewell get-together. The champagne on plastic flutes is brilliant.
Sending my best wishes too to Stephanie on her new adventure.
So so cute! I love a good picnic. I usually make spiced wine to take a long, which is always a hit for the over 21 crowd.
This is interesting, been a while since we went on a picnic but definitely is important to have drinks and snacks. You guys look great by the way.
