This summer, a bigger, pinker Rosé Mansion has taken over Midtown New York. We visited this Rosé Pop-Up last year and were invited back to explore the mansion before they officially opened their pink doors to the public. We walked through several magical, Instagramworthy rooms and sipped chilled Rosé from different wine regions. Put on your Rosé colored glasses as we transport you back to Rosé Mansion.
Tyler Balliet and Morgan First designed Rosé Mansion to bring your Rosé dreams to life. Rosé Mansion 2.0 officially opened it doors on June 1st. This 32,000 square feet mansion and features 14 Rosé themed rooms. During this self-guided tour, sommeliers will refresh your glass and explain the history, science and politics of this 6,000 year old wine.
Before boarding Rosé Airlines, you are required to watch a tutorial and sign a waiver. You will receive a a Rosé Mansion pin and a Govino wine glass to sample your 8 Rosé wines. Additional food, wine, and private cabanas are for available for purchase.
When you arrive, you will be transported into the middle of a vineyard, surrounded by rows of grapevines.
After walking through the Vineyard Room, we picked up our Govino wine glass for our Rosé tasting journey. Remember not to lose the glass, as you’ll have to pay for a replacement.
In the Science Room, sommeliers describe the wine production process. This room resembles a traditional wine tasting room, featuring giant wine barrels as well as infographics and diagrams about the fermentation and the wine-making process.
We time traveled back to Cleopatra’s Palace in ancient Egypt and sipped on the queen’s favorite sparkling red wine, a Brachetto. We embraced our inner highness while we relaxed on Cleopatra’s throne and chaise.
In the Acid Room, we learned about the acidity in wine, and how certain flavors can affect the taste of wine. We were on cloud wine.
In the Sweet Room, we were in pursuit of sweetness. In this psychedelic 60s themed room, we followed a flowchart to discover how our biology impacts our preference for sweet, semi-sweet, or dry wine. At the end of the flow chart, we sampled wine based on our genetic disposition.
Watch the video to see which wine we sampled!
Rosé Mansion brought back last year’s favorite, the Garden Room. This year, the room is bigger with 3 bathtubs filled with lots of pink rose petals.
The Celebration Room features a pop-up giant cake with lots of glitter and confetti. You’ll feel like the life of the party.
The last room before RoséLand is the Bubbly Room. Go ahead and dive into the ball pit and grab the Rosé bubbles.
The final stop is RoséLand, a large wine themed amusement park and playground. Guests can relax in the cabanas, swing on a chandelier, climb into a treehouse, sit for a tarot reading, lounge at the picnic tables, and/or buy tacos from Taco Dumbo. There is also a wine bar featuring 120 varietals of Rosé that are available for purchase.
Head over to Rosé Mansion, where a one of a kind wine tasting adventure awaits. We recommend purchasing Rosé Wine tickets in advance. General Admission Tickets are for a specific date and time and cost $45. Guests can save $10 by visiting during happy hour from 2PM – 4:30PM on weekdays, except Tuesdays. You’ll sample approximately two glasses of wine and take at least a dozen Instagram worthy pictures and Bommerangs. Now that’s what we call a steal.
