Tailwind has a new feature that is pinteresting, Tailwind Create. Tailwind Create designs beautiful, custom Pinterest pins for you. You can select the pins you like, customize the pins and then schedule the pins to your favorite boards or Tailwind Communities. We are excited to share how we use Tailwind Create to design Pinterest pins for us.
What is Tailwind?
We first discovered Tailwind about a year ago. It’s a Pinterest game changer. We even put a Tailwind cheatsheet together on how we grew our monthly views from 5k to 1.5m.

Tailwind is a one-stop-shop for Pinterest pin creation and scheduling that allows you to:
- Design Pinterest Pins
- Upload multiple images quickly
- Schedule your Pinterest pins at the optimal time for your audience
- Analyze Pin performance
- Reach new audiences with Tailwind communities

What is Tailwind Create?
Tailwind Create streamlines your Pinterest workflow for the fastest Pin creation, scheduling and analytics. Tailwind Create is located on the left sidebar.

Click Start a New Design button.

Then, add the link to your blog post link and title. We don’t use stock photos so we toggle to Site Photos. Then we select the relevant images from that blog post (we have a Shop our Favorites Tab at the top of each blog post, so Tailwind Create picks those images up too and we just disregard them). Then click Create Images.

You can use your brand colors as a palette or select a palette based on image colors. Tailwind Create will populate sample Pin designs. You can adjust the colors, photos and layout. You can also refine by content type, industry/niche or pin format.

Select a pin design and then you can refine the colors, font and images. You can zoom or reposition photos. Some users may prefer to stick to their brand colors on every Pin. We prefer to match color palettes to the colors in our photos.

Then click schedule. This sends the Pins to your Drafts Dashboard. Then continue Tailwind as usual: write a pin title, description and URL link.
WHO IS TAILWIND CREATE FOR?
Tailwind Create is perfect for bloggers, social media managers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, virtual assistants or anyone with a business Pinterest account. With Tailwind Create, you can create beautiful pins quickly. No design skills required.
How Much Does Tailwind Cost?
Tailwind costs $9.99 monthly, when paid annually or $14.99, monthly. Tailwind’s free trial includes 100 pins and 15 monthly submissions to Tailwind Communities. Tailwind Create ranges from free to $24.92 per month paid annual during their sale. Before Tailwind, we had 5k monthly views on our Pinterest account. After Tailwind, we peaked at 2mm monthly views. Our results may not be typical. However, we recommend checking Google Analytics and Pinterest Analytics during your trial.
