Happy Holla Days! Showstopping holiday tablescapes are all over Instagram and Pinterest. Instead of just admiring them on social media, we are offering our tips to create beautiful Christmas tablescapes. Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle if you have no Martha Stewart skills. With some Twinspiration and a Jiffy, you can deck your table with some boughs of holly.
Select the color palette for your perfect tablescape. We selected a chic white, red and green color scheme. We evoked feelings of a White Christmas with our whimsical snowman and reindeer holiday linens.
Use crisp table linens and napkins. Nothing ruins a tablescape more than wrinkled linens. In the past, we wasted hours trying to iron out wrinkles and creases from our tablecloths. We recently discovered a much easier solution- the Jiffy. The Jiffy J-2000 personal clothing steamer is ideal for table linens, clothes and bedspreads. The Jiffy heats up quickly and eliminates wrinkles even faster. A freshly steamed tablecloth not only looks beautiful in person, it will save you from wasting time on photoshopping wrinkles. We also recommend steaming napkins for an extra crisp look.  Â
Design a beautiful centerpiece to be the focal point of the tablescape. We placed a chic floral arrangement of pearl amaryllis, hand painted scabiosa and snow white tree branches in the center of the table. If you are hosting a large dinner party, we recommend adding multiple centerpieces or several smaller centerpieces that coordinate with a larger one. Keep in mind, your centerpiece does not  have to be floral. We used 4 wine bottles dressed in festive wine toppers as additional table decor.Â
Add place cards to each place settings. We set our place setting with a dinner plate, cloth napkin and silver flatware. We rounded out each setting with adorable ornament place card holders. Place cards not only serve as added table decor but are also an inexpensive way to make your guests to feel special at your dinner party.Â
There’s snow place like home so make your holiday tablescape extra special this year with a Jiffy and some Twinspiration. Thank you to Jiffy Steamer for partnering on this post. Tag your posts as #jiffytablescape so we can see your posts.Â
Like snowflakes, my Christmas memories gather and dance — each beautiful, unique, and gone too soon. –– Deborah Whipp
