Ready, set football. Are you ready for some football? The Big Game isn’t just about the game. For us, it’s equal parts game, commercials, and easy Super Bowl foods! We created a football inspired tablescape and served lots of pizza, and candy and cupcakes. You can make these snacks from scratch or just save some time and buy them. We are excited to share three easy Super Bowl foods with you.
How to Create a Super Bowl Tablescape?
The key to a good Super Bowl party is a Super Bowl tablescape with easy Super Bowl foods. We created our tablescape with a football table runner. This faux turf table runner immediately transforms any space into a concessions stand. It even has touchdown on the ends and white yard lines! We also added football themed popcorn boxes, football themed chili paper bowls and football themed paper bowls.
Each place setting featured a football shaped plate and a football napkin. We also had football beverage napkins. The kids could wait to place our easy Super Bowl foods on their plates.
Easy Super Bowl Foods: Pizza
Slice, slice baby. Calling all pizza and football lovers. The easiest Super Bowl food is pizza with your favorite toppings. You can make the pizza, buy the dough and add your own toppings or order from a Pizzeria or pizza chain. With some Twinspiration, you can elevate family pizza and football night. Our favorite pizza toppings are the cheese with jalapeños and onions while Dylan loves Pepperoni and Keira likes cheese. Anyway you make or order it, pizza is an easy Super Bowl foods.
The easiest option is just order from your favorite pizzeria or fast food pizza chain. Most pizza chains have an app so you can order a specialty pizza or customize a pizza from your smartphone. We are also huge fans of breadsticks and garlic knots. After we laid down the football table runner, we placed the pizza on a pizza stone. We put the breadsticks in the football themed popcorn boxes and the garlic knots in the football themed chili paper bowls.
Making pizza from scratch is a breeze if you have a Kitchen-Aid Stand Mixer and a pizza stone. If you don’t, you can buy pre-made pizza dough, let it rise for about an hour. Then add your favorite toppings and bake. Making pizza from scratch or with pre-made dough is a fun cooking activity with kids. Dylan and Keira love making pizza from scratch. With the football table decorations, we made the Super Bowl pizza night more fun and special from regular pizza night.
Easy Super Bowl Foods: Candy
Tackling this game, one treat at a time. For the Super Bowl, we recommend decoration ideas with a sweet twist. We created a whimsical football-inspired tablescape featuring SNICKERS Minis, M&M’S Peanut Candies and SKITTLES. We decorated the table with a football table runner. We replaced traditional candy dishes with football themed popcorn boxes, football themed chili paper bowls and football themed paper bowls.
We placed:
- M&M’s in football themed popcorn boxes
- Skittles in football themed chili paper bowls
- SNICKERs in football themed paper bowls.
We also added a football beverage napkin. Best of all you can set up this spread up in less than 10 minutes. The M&M’s Peanut candies even look like colorful footballs. Ready, set, snack!
Easy Super Bowl Foods: Cupcakes
Every Super Bowl party needs some Super Bowl Cupcakes. You can bake football cupcakes from scratch. We have made pullout cupcakes and football chocolate toppers in the past. If you are short on time, you can always buy cupcakes and add a chocolate football topper. All you need is a football chocolate mold and some candy melts. Of course, the easiest option is to buy football themed cupcakes. We started with a football table runner, a football shaped plate and a football napkin. Next, we added the football themed cupcakes. Whether you bake them from scratch or buy them, we won’t tell.
This year, try these easy Super Bowl Foods for the Big Game. Pizza, candy and cupcakes with a Football tablescape are a great way to watch the Super Bowl at home.

What I really like about this celebration is the set-up: the plates, the insignia, the colors of the Superbowl. The cupcakes are the best.
These are great ideas! Too bad I read it a bit late but still helpful since I am planning to prepare a sports-themed party for my little boy. The cupcakes are so cute.
