5 Wine-Themed Holiday Gifts with Cricut Joy
This holiday season, make these five wine-themed holiday gifts with Cricut Joy.
- Holiday Card
- Wine Decals
- Wine Bag
- Holiday Gift Tag
Now let’s gather all the materials along with Cricut Joy and start crafting.
How to Make Holiday Cards with Cricut Joy
Every holiday gift needs a holiday card. Cricut Design Space has a variety of pre-designed holiday cards. You’ll need to open up Cricut Design Space, go to projects and search for holiday card. We selected the Sweet Holiday card. You can also create your own design from scratch.
We placed the khaki card on the card mat and pressed it down firmly with the scraper. Then we placed the card mat on Cricut Joy and let Cricut Joy transform the blank cards into unique, beautiful holiday cards. We used Cricut tools to carefully peel the top layer from the mat. The last step is to add the red glitter insert card into the card.
How to Make Holiday Coasters with Cricut Joy
Tis the season to get tipsy. Now it’s now for some real presents. We used infusible ink to make holiday coasters. We uploaded our wine pun SVGs into Cricut Design Space. You can weed or reverse weed, depending how you want to style the coasters.
We wanted the text to be in white, so we weeded the letters. If you want the text to be in plaid, you’ll need to reverse weed and weed the everything but the text. To make our coasters, we used Cricut Joy Starter Tool Kit, infusible ink, coasters and Easy Press.
We placed the infusible ink with the patterned ink facing up on a Cricut mat. Remember to mirror in because you will place infusible ink with the pattern facing down. We used the weeding tools to remove the excess ink. Then we used our Cricut Easy Press to apply the infusible ink onto our coasters.
How to Make Wine Decals with Cricut Joy
Pour me some holiday cheer. Now we need to make some holiday wine glasses to complement our holiday coasters. You can use glass or plastic wine glasses. We used glass wine glasses for our Tiger King Party and plastic stemless ones for this project. We uploaded our holiday wine SVGs into Cricut Design Space.
Then we placed the smart vinyl in Cricut Joy. With smart vinyl, you don’t have to use a Cricut mat. Once the vinyl is cut, we used the tools to reverse weed. Then we used the transfer tape to apply the vinyl to each wine glass. Then sit back and pour yourself a glass of wine. Joy to the world the wine is poured.
How to Make a Custom Wine Bag with Cricut Joy
Why use a regular wine bag, when you can make a custom wine bag with Cricut Joy. We uploaded our SVG into Cricut Design Space. For this project, you’ll need a wine bag, Cricut Joy Starter Tool Kit, infusible ink and Easy Press.
Like the coasters, remember to mirror the infusible ink. We used the same ink as the coasters, but this time we reverse weeded. We wanted the infusible ink on the design. The final step is adding a Happy Holidays gift tag to attach to the wine bag. You’ll need Cricut Joy Starter Tool Kit and black and gold glitter cardstock to make this gift tag.
We wish you a Merry Craftmas and a Happy New Year. This holiday season, make personalized wine gifts for your friends and family with Cricut Joy. All you have to add is their favorite bottle of wine. Cheers! Tis the season to get tipsy and crafty.
It’s never to early to start crafting for Christmas.Anonymous
