Looking for an oceanic adventure through a bioluminescent sea, right here in NYC? If so, then head over to Ocean Cube where you’ll start in the Coral Tunnel and end in the Recycle Bank. We are excited to share this immersive experience with you.
Ocean Cube is a five-room pop-up exhibit in Soho. Guests can take deep sea selfies in this futuristic under-sea world, while thinking about environmental impact and sustainability.
We started our underwater journey in the Coral Tunnel. Vibrant and sparkly flowing strands that represent the movement from shallow to deep waters.
Then we walked into the Net Guard room, adorned with colorful fishnets that protect you from pollution.
The highlight of the experience was the Jellyfish Station. Bioluminescent gravity defying jellyfish are floating throughout the room, while an enormous blue whale swims at the center. These beautiful cool color toned creature represent slow and fast vehicles in undersea life. They soft light using fiber optics and we couldn’t stop staring at them.
Bubble Mall is a shopping center made of bubbles and pearls. The bubbles represent brands and people can shop here under water.
The oceanic adventure concludes at the Recycle Bank, a sea of plastic bottles. The Recycle Bank represents the environmental threats facing the world’s oceans.
Guests can experience a deep sea adventure at Ocean Cube until October 23rd. Check it out this week. You might come for the Instagram bait, but you’ll learn something too.
