Sleigh my name. Sleigh my name. This holiday season, ornaments are not just decorations for the Christmas Tree. We partnered with Cricut to create beautiful ornament gift tags. Personalized tags are the perfect finishing touch for your holiday presents. Get your Cricut ready and let's sleigh my name.
We designed our holiday ornaments on Cricut Design Space. Cricut Design Space has several projects that you can use to inspire your next DIY craft. We customized ornament gift tags. There is a mobile App so you can design on the go and send your project wirelessly to the Cricut Explore Air 2.
After we designed our project, we used the Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut the tags. If you are a perfectionist like us, then you know the challenges with handcutting symmetrical objects with intricate details.
This machine cuts light and heavy cardstock, bonded fabric, poster board, paper and vinyl. There’s also a custom smart dial so you can select the material to get a precision cut. We cut our ornaments using the light cardstock setting.
To make the ornament gift tags, you will need a mat, cardstock, Cricut tools, glue and string. We also recommend Cricut Access Premium to get access to hundreds of beautiful fonts, thousands of premium Cricut images and discounts on other purchases. The Basic Tool Set helps remove letters or images from the mat.
We used red, white and sparkling silver cardstock to create each ornament.
Next, we glued each color on top of each other.
We used the scraper to secure each piece of cardstock.
This holiday season, add some pizzazz to your holiday gifts with custom ornament gift tags.
Some Christmas tree ornaments do more than glitter and glow, they represent a gift of love given a long time ago. Tom Baker
