It’s been a fabulous year for Twinspirational, and we are grateful to our family, friends and followers. During our free time, we enjoy giving back to our community through various volunteering and mentoring programs. This holiday season, we teamed up with Amazon to show you how easy it is to donate to your favorite charities and organizations. We share several ways Amazon makes it easy to give back this Holiday.
Earlier this year, we worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, a mentoring program for children. We also volunteered at the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen in the Church of the Holy Apostles. Our nephew, Dylan, asked for food donations for the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair in lieu of gifts for his 8th birthday. We believe it’s important to give back to the community throughout the year and during the holiday season. We try to impart similar values to our niece and nephew.
Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen is New York City’s largest food program and feeds hundreds of New Yorkers a day. We spent several hours preparing meals. We wanted to give back to this organization this holiday season!
Amazon helps simplify the donating process. There are three ways to donate to your favorite charities with Amazon.
- allows you to search for a specific charity’s list. You can buy items that are then donated and delivered directly to the charity.
- allows you to support a charitable organization by donating a portion of your eligible Amazon purchase when you start shopping on smile.amazon.com.
- Donating with Alexa lets you make a donation to a registered charity with an Alexa enabled device.
We visitedto donate a portion of our Amazon purchases to our charity. We also searched for Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen through AmazonSmile and set it up as our charity of choice for when we shop every day.
We clicked Select and now our purchases support Church of the Holy Apostles.
We’re Delivering Smiles with Amazon this holiday season and would love for you to join us.
Making a donation is the ultimate sign of solidarity. Actions speak louder than words.

Thanks for this info about such a great initiative. I agree that actions speak louder than words, and giving back is especially important around this time of year.
I actually use Amazon a lot but I never paid attention to this section. I will definitely take a closer look next time I am ordering something.
I love that amazon has this program! I have it set up to help my kids school. This is so awesome of them!
I love that you’ve got this on your radar, and you’ve got the spirit of giving in your heart!
Ohhh… talking from a marketting point of view, this is the small wonderful gesture, which the users are gonna love it.
Wonderful idea.
I never realized how easy it was to donate and give back with Amazon. I’ll definitely have to keep this in mind.
We can give back every day but in Christmas there’s that special feel on it.
Thanks for pointing this one out. Its especially timely since its the season of giving.
