What’s up, my Grinches? Last week, we were up to snow good in Deer Valley. We celebrated a with Christmas brunch with our family at Stein Eriksen. We are excited to Sleigh Christmas Day with you.
In Deer Valley, we wake up early so that we can spend most of the day conquering blues on the mountain. Last year, we went to Stein Eriksen for Christmas dinner. It was delicious, but a bit late for Dylan and Keira. This year, these Jingle Ballers decided to celebrate with a Christmas brunch instead.
We decorated our holiday wines with Mr. and Mrs. Reindeer wine toppers. Most restaurants in Deer Valley have reasonably priced corkage fees.
We started with the Jean Lallement champagne.
The Christmas buffet spread was delicious.
We selected a variety of options, but our favorite was the portobello mushroom with risotto.
The dessert spread was equally fantastic.
We asked the servers for their favorites and sampled these mini desserts. Archana loved the macaron, while Kanchana devoured the chocolate tart.
Stein Eriksen holds a special place in our hearts. Our sister and brother in law got married there in 2010 and they will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary this February 14th. Happy early anniversary to them and let’s give them a round of Santa-plause.
The two most joyous times of the year are Christmas morning and the end of school.
