The Funghi Misti delighted with its smoky grilled portobello mushrooms, while the Fioro di Zucchini enchanted us with creamy ricotta-filled squash blossoms. An Italian twist on a sushi roll, the Tuna Roll seamlessly blended flavors from the East and West.

You’re an im-pasta! As we ventured into the pasta course, we couldn’t resist pairing it with the luscious Far Niente Chardonnay from Napa. We visited Far Niente on our Napa trip. This buttery and oaky white wine elevated the flavors of our pasta dishes to new heights. We savored two types of Spaghettini—one adorned with truffles and the other infused with squid ink and seafood. Both plates were bursting with flavor, but it was the buttery truffle pasta that truly won our hearts.

With each twirl of the fork and every delectable bite, the marriage between the Far Niente Chardonnay and the pasta dishes became a crescendo of flavors, elevating our dining experience to new dimensions. However, it was the buttery truffle pasta that truly captured our hearts, its velvety texture and indulgent taste leaving an everlasting imprint on our palates.
Savoring Sweet Success: Dessert Dreams Come True at Novita NYC
Skipping the Pesce (fish) and Conti (meat) courses, we decided to dive straight into the sweet finale. But not before sipping on some delightful limoncello. After all, when life gives you lemons, make limoncello!
You’re worth melting for. For dessert, we couldn’t resist sampling an array of Novita’s delightful desserts. We shared the Gelati Misti (gelato), Semifreddo (frozen mousse), Gelati Affogato al Caffé (gelato sundae), and Torta di Mascarpone (cheesecake). Among these delectable treats, the mascarpone cheesecake with raspberry coulis stood out as the true champion. Creamy, rich, and balanced, it was simply the best cheesecake we’ve ever tasted. Of course, we couldn’t resist satisfying our chocolate cravings with the heavenly Gelati and Semifreddo.
