Love isn’t in the air, it’s in the hair! If you are looking for the best curling iron, then look no further than the Beachwaver. With the Beachwaver, you can get a professional look at home in minutes. Yes, that’s right. Do you want those beachy Victoria’s Secret waves at home? Well you can create salon quality curls and waves without breaking the bank. We are excited to share our experience with the Beachwaver, the best curling iron, with you.
What is the Beachwaver?
Hairway to heaven. Beachwaver was founded in 2010 by celebrity hair stylist, Sarah Potempa, and her sisters, Erin Potempa-Wall and Emily Potempa. They created and patented a world class rotating curling iron that makes curling hair simple and easy. This iconic curling iron is available in three barrel sizes .75 inch, 1 inch and 1.25 inches. We use the .75 inch for very tight curls, the 1 inch for tight curls and the 1.25 for loose waves. With any of these devices, say goodbye to creases that you may have gotten from a traditional curling iron.
It’s purr-fect. We use the 1.25 the most often because we have thick hair and it’s the quickest to use. The 1.25 also gives our hair an effortless loose wave look. It’s available in a few colors and also part of the Catwalk collection, which includes a scarf, scrunchie and storage pouch. If you have thinner hair or more time, you may prefer the smaller barrels.
Best Curling Iron: How Does the Beachwaver Work?
Hair we are. If you ever felt overwhelmed or confused by curling irons in the past, don’t worry. The Beachwaver is a simple curling iron tool that’s easy to use by non-professionals. Each Beachwaver features an on/off switch, a small clamp to hold your hair in place, temperature buttons, two arrows pointing right and left, a home button, and a fast or slow adjustable switch.
Who run the world? Curls. You can adjust the temperature from 290 to 410 degrees Fahrenheit. After you clamp your hair, use the Beachwaver’s automatic rotation button (left or right arrow depending on whether you are curling the left or right side of your hair. Allow the hair to curl for about 30 seconds, then release. You can leave the hair loose or pin it up. When we start from the front, we curl and pin up. When we start from the back, we section and clip our hair up. Then we curl the loose hair, the unclip the sectioned up hair, curl and repeat on both sides.
“Well, well. Hair we are.” You can also just keep it easy and curl without clips. Then run your hands or a brush through the curls and add some anti frizz serum. With some dry shampoo and the Beachwaver, you can go between washes for a few days. We simply use this curling iron to touch up and refresh our hair the next day.
Best Curling Iron: Beachwaver Hair Care
The best hair starts with a good foundation. We recommend using the Stay Strong Reparative Kit, which includes the Be Strong Pre-Shampoo Reparative Foam, Reparative Shampoo and Reparative Conditioner. You apply the pre-Shampoo on dry hair before you shower. The ultra-moisturizing shampoo and conditioner nourish distressed and aging hair. This collection helps keep our hair healthy, shiny and silky smooth.
Best Curling Iron: Beachwaver Pro Dry
I’ll be hair for you. After we use the Stay Strong Reparative Kit, we blow dry our hair with the Beachwaver Pro Dry. This time saving hair dryer features ion technology that reduces static and leaves hair shiny, silky and smooth. This hair dryer also has an adjustable control scroll to select the best speed and temperature for your hair. It also has a cool shot button to seal a smooth, shiny finish. This hair dryer is part of the Midnight Rose collection, which also includes a Flat Iron and a Curling Iron.
It’s mind blowing. We recommend using the Beachwaver Pro Dry with the Blow Out Pro. This 1.25 round brush smoothes hair, adds shine and creates a polished finish. It has a unique, comfortable handle too.
Best Flat Iron: Beachwaver Midnight Rose Coast Pro
Hair comes trouble. We don’t wear our hair straight often, but when we do, we use the Midnight Rose Coast Pro. This flatiron provides easy, professional-quality results in minutes. It heats up quickly and the tourmaline ceramic plates protect and smoothly glide over your hair. It’s also dual voltage for travel friendly use.
Best Curling Iron: Storage Pouch
It’s hair-larious. If you travel with your Beachwaver, then get a Storage Pouch. They are chic and the inside lining is heat resistant. You can’t place a hot iron the outside though. The front and back aren’t heat resistant.
Red, white and curls. Beachwaver has some adorable hair accessories that are perfect for July 4th and all summer long.
These red, white and blue pieces go well with gorgeous waves too.
This year, give the Beachwaver a try for the perfect beach babe look.
