Mexicue in NYC
MEXiCUE is no ordinary Mexican restaurant. This unique restaurant combines traditional Mexican flavors with Southern classics and cooking techniques. MEXiCUE has three locations in New York City: Chelsea, Nomad and Midtown. They are open for outdoor and indoor dining. We are regulars at the Nomad / Flatiron location, which is just a few blocks from home. MEXiCUE has a fantastic brunch and dinner menu. They also have a delicious catering menu, which is perfect for Cinco de Mayo, Dia de los Muertos, Taco Tuesday or Mexican dinner party.

Best Mexican Food in Chelsea: What to Order to Drink?
Take life with a grain of salt, some lime and a whole lotta tequila. MEXiCUE serves a large variety of margaritas, including seasonal flavors. We recommend the seasonal margarita. You also can’t go wrong with the Paloma or House Margarita. If it’s a ladies night, definitely start with a round of margaritas for the senioritas.
Sangria is my favorite fruit. We also recommend the red Sangria. It’s perfect with the tacos.
Best Mexican Food in Chelsea: What to Order for Dinner?
The food is Mexcellent. We started with the Charred Jalapeño Guacamole- We liked the spiciness of the guacamole. A spicy guac pairs nicely with the Margaritas and Palomas as the sweetness of the cocktails balanced the heat from the guacamole. We also ordered the Mexican Street Corn with creamy chipotle, cotija and chili powder. You can order this on the cob or shucked. We ordered both! The shucked version is easier to share. We also recommend the Poblano Mac & Cheese. This dish is quite creamy and rich, so order one for the table to share. A few bites are all you need for mac & cheese heaven. These appetizers are some of the best Mexican food in Chelsea.
Taco bout a party. For mains, we ordered a variety of tacos to share. We ordered the Pan Seared Cod, Lobster, Charred Broccoli, Nashville Hot Chicken and Burnt Ends Brisket. Our favorite was the Lobster. The Lobster Taco was served with chipotle butter, creamy chipotle and fresh scallions. Get two because lobsters don’t share because they are shellfish.
Chippin, dippin, margarita sippin. Have a spec-taco-ler day and head over to MEXiCUE for the best Mexican food in Chelsea. MEXiCUE is perfect for brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner. In addition, you can order take out and host your own TACO TUESDAY or Mexican dinner party at home. You can also check out our Outdoor Dining and Indoor Dining for more recommendations.
I wish I was full of tacos instead of emotions.

Mexicue sounds like my kind of place. I won’t touch Taco Bell with a 10-foot pole, but I absolutely LOVE real, authentic Mexican food. Theirs looks amazing.
Love the vibe of the place! Is this really the best? I need to take note of this so that I can see for myself. The food looks so delicious though. Glad I came over to this post too! Thank you for sharing, you both look beautiful in the pictures as well. 🙂
Mexican food is a regular part of our diet living here in Houston. This Mexican restaurant sounds like it has all the key attributes for a great place to dine and drink.

I love Mexican food, especially to eat with a beer. Definitely I will visit this place when traveling to Chelsea.
As a Texan I’m conditioned to think any other Mexican food isn’t as good! But this does look yummy!
