We are excited to get crafty with Cricut Joy and share the best Cricut Joy reviews with you! This month, we are staying in and pro-craftinating with Cricut’s newest machine, Cricut Joy. Cricut Joy is an excellent companion to the Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker. It’s light, portable and let’s you quickly personalize projects at home. We think you’ll love this machine, especially during quarantine.
Best Cricut Joy Reviews: Tote
Crafting each day keeps the crazy away (especially now because of social distancing). Last month, we packed our bags, temporarily left New York City and quarantined ourselves in New Jersey. We were limited on space, but it was easy to travel with our compact Cricut Joy and Cricut Joy Travel Tote. This Tote features a padded interior for protection and custom pockets to keep us organized. Our Cricut Joy reviews of the tote are great. We recommend storing your Cricut Joy in the Tote and using it to travel with.
Best Cricut Joy Reviews: Machine
Cricut Joy is a sleek device that cuts, writes and draws. It allows us to quickly personalize projects with a single cut in 15 minutes or less. You can make cards, labels, banners, place cards and so much more. Since we will be indoors for the foreseeable future, we are excited to craft with Cricut Joy. This mini crafting machine cuts over 50 popular crafting materials, including vinyl, cardstock, iron-on, paper and more. Unlike the Cricut Explore Air 2, this machine can cut mat-free projects with Cricut’s new Smart Materials and make long cuts. Our initial impression is we love this machine and we are giving our Cricut Joy reviews an A+.

We placed the tulip card on Cricut Joy Card Mat.
Then we let Cricut Joy work its magic.
Next we used the tools to carefully peel the top layer from the mat.
Then we placed the insert inside the card.

We didn’t want to leave our father empty handed, so we also made a personalized Father’s Day card.
We also made a personalized Happy Birthday card for one of our friends.
How adorable are these cards? We made them in less than 15 minutes. Best of all they are personalized and significantly cheaper than buying a ready-made card.
Best Cricut Joy Reviews: More Craft Ideas
So what else can you do with Cricut Joy? Unlike the Cricut Explore Air 2, you can create projects without a mat and work with Cricut’s Smart Vinyl in extended cuts, up to 20′ of cut capability. Sensors measure the material and then the machine starts the cut. Not having to swap mats will definitely save time. Cricut Joy also has a full suite of compatible pens to write or draw with the perfect penmanship.
Having using this machine during quarantine, we are excited about our Cricut Joy reviews. This spring, head over to Cricut and get your own Cricut Joy. It’s also available in-store at Michaels and Target. It’s great as a standalone crafting machine or as a companion to the Cricut Explore Air 2. We can’t wait to see what you make with it. Crafters gonna craft, right?
