You gotta hustle for the muscle. The weather is getting colder and colder, but don’t let that put a damper on your fitness goals. Fitness apps are a great way to stay fit while working out at home. We’ve been using P.volve for over a year now, and they recently launched a Zoom class special. This fall, get a great workout with a P.volve Zoom Class at home.
What is P.volve?
P.volve is a safe, functional movement-based method that targets hard to reach muscles and builds strength. P.volve offers classes in person, through their fitness app and now through Zoom Classes. The instructors are easy to follow during the Zoom class and you can see your fellow class online to keep you motivated. If you are new to P.volve, check out our first, second and third posts.
How to Get a Great Workout with a P.volve Zoom Class?
We chose the Virtual Cardio Burn class with Melanie Ramos. We worked out with Melanie last year in P.volve’s studio in Soho. We prefer classes that increase our heart rates, especially since we haven’t been doing our daily HIIT gym classes. Melanie is a fantastic instructor that breaks down each exercise and pauses to correct form. This is one of the main differences between a P.volve Zoom class and the P.volve streaming app.
You’ll see yourself, the instructor and the rest of the class on the screen. We airplayed the class to our TV, but you can also use a laptop or smartphone. We recommend a TV so that you have a large screen and can see every move. Our class used the ankle weights, light dumbbells and mat. The ankle weights and dumbbells are light. They feel so much heavier because of P.volve’s small, targeted muscle movements. The mat provides durable, cushiony support. It’s soft and comfortable for elbows and knees. It’s also light, compact and has a strap so you can take it on the go. We moved at a fast pace because it’s a cardio burn class, and not just a regular slower paced P.volve class.
How the P.volve Zoom Class Works?
P.volve is powered by MindBody. Twenty-five minutes before class, you will receive a Zoom link with login information. You should login to the class about 15 minutes prior to the class to ensure you have enough time to set up. This year, try to get a great workout with a P.volve Zoom Class at home.
