Warning! There’s a battle ahead. Read at your own risk! We celebrated Dylan’s 8th birthday with a Nerf War. He invited 8 friends to the battle zone. They started with target practice and then it was an all out Nerf War. Ready, aim, fire as we bring you to the battleground.
We placed a Nerf Wars welcome sign at the entrance to the party. Printables are an easy way to incorporate a theme into a party.
Nerf inspired the party’s cobalt, orange, white and turquoise color palette. We created a Battle Zone and sophisticated refueling stations for the soldiers.
We replaced the traditional mess hall with an elegant Nerf inspired tablescape. We decorated our table with cobalt tablecloths and an orange satin table runner. We hung blue/white paper fans and an orange honeycomb above the tablescape. We use additional honeycombs as table decor.
The place settings featured orange plates, orange napkins with blue cutlery and refueling liquids. We assigned seating with VIP passes, which listed each soldier’s name. The party favors were Nerf guns, which served as additional decor.
Refueling liquid included water with custom Nerf labels and Battle-Aid (orange Gatorade).
Our soldiers were geared up and ready for battle.
They stocked up on delicious bites at our Loading Station before heading to the battle zone.
We created a delicious menu featuring orange and blue bites and beverages.
We added Bring It On napkins and created Nerf inspired food tents. We served cheese pellets, battle chips, blueberry bombs and orange grenades.
We decorated the Refueling Station with balloons, blue and orange beverage napkins and stocked the bar with blue Gatorade, Nerf water bottles, beer and wine.
We created a small prop table with gun powder.
We transformed the yard into an obstacle course for the soldiers. The kids were given instructions and then divided into two teams. Then it was an all out war on the battlefield. When the game started, the soldiers used their bases for cover and then used their Nerf guns to strike their opponents. Once hit, the Soldiers sat down and crossed their arms across their chest.
We finished our Nerf War with a game of kids versus adults. The adults had just as much fun as the kids.
After the Nerf War, the Soldiers refueled with cheeseburgers, hot dogs and Battle-Aid.
Then it was cake time. We ordered this custom Nerf cake from Mother Mousse, complete with a fondant Nerf gun and bullets.
We had a fantastic time creating a Nerf War at home. Next time, use our tips to bring the Battle Zone home and create your own Nerf party.
I’d take a nerf bullet for you!Anonymous
