I like to move it, move it. We like to move it! We departed the city last week to seek shelter in New Jersey. We are adjusting to working from home and staying fit without a gym. We have been running outside (keeping social distance) and using P.volve’s streaming services. P.volve is a safe, functional movement-based method that elongates muscles and builds strength. We are excited to share our new fitness routine with you.
Since our gym is closed for the foreseeable future, we created an at-home routine with P.volve. P.volve focuses on targeted toning and small movements. The exercises are low impact with high intensity. P.volve has 18 workout series. We’ve been streaming their services for six months and we have taken classes in their Soho studio. We recently completed P.volve’s Summit 60 Challenge and now we’ve moved on to other workouts in the App.
If you are new to P.volve, check out our first and second posts. There are over 200 on-demand workouts in the P.volve app, ranging from 15-60 minutes. You can select workouts by length of time, type of required equipment and area of focus. We like to stream the app to our TV.
P.volve has a variety of proprietary equipment that amplify their exercises. Consider the Ultimate P.volve package, which is currently on sale and includes the P-ball, P-band, resistance ankle bands, ankle weights, light dumbbells and gliders. For a more advanced workout, consider the Summit 60 Kit, which includes the Ultimate P.volve package plus the p.3 trainer, slant board and foam roller. If you have hard wood floors, we recommend the glider gloves (so you don’t scratch your floors). You can also modify the workouts if you don’t have any or all the equipment.
We recently added the p.3 trainer and slant board to our repertoire. The p.3 trainer uses resistance training to engage hard-to-reach muscles while the slant board increases muscle activation, strength and flexibility.
After 6 months, we have noticed that the P.volve exercises increased our muscle definition, improved our posture and increased our hip and shoulder mobility. We like that the P.volve exercises target hard to reach muscles, the instructors are easy to follow on the app and the exercises nicely complement our high intensity interval training routines.
We highly recommend P.volve if you are interested in trying a cost-effective routine at home. The Ultimate P.volve Package with 1 Month of streaming is currently on sale and P.volve is also offering a 30 Day Free Trial with the code OnePvolve.
As people work to practice social distancing, it’s important that they are still able to focus on their mental and physical health. We believe in community and we believe this is a time when everyone needs to step up and do what they can to help each other.Rachel Katzman
