The dreaded quarantine 15. Anyone else feel like it’s a repeat of the Freshman 15, but without all the fun of being in college? Intermittent fasting is a way to lose quarantine weight gain. We wrote our first Fast Bar review last year. Fast Bar consists of a proprietary blend of premium nuts that help us stay full longer. We are excited to share our second Fast Bar review.
Quarantine Weight Gain
No one expected work from home to last as long as it has. Has work and working out from home wrecked havoc on your health and wellness goals? It’s even worse for those of us living in small apartments in big cities. Have you been asking yourself- how do I lose weight in quarantine? Intermittent fasting can help you lose weight while at home.

What is Intermittent Fasting?
Intermittent Fasting is a method of eating and fasting periods that can help you lose weight in quarantine. During the fasting period, you will eat very little or nothing at all. Popular methods of Intermittent Fasting include:
- 16/8 method: Limit eating period to 8 hours and fasting period for 16 hours (sometimes we alter this to a 14/10 method)
- Eat-Stop-Eat: Fast for 24 hours, 1-2 times a week
- 5:2 Diet: Eat 500–600 calories on two non-consecutive days of the week and eat normally the rest of the week
- Alternate-Day Fasting: Fast every other day, eat nothing or up to 500 calories and then eat regularly
- The Warrior Diet: 20-hour fasting period with small amounts of dairy, fruits and vegetables and 4-hour eating window
Earlier this year, we kicked off our annual dry January with a second round of ProLon. We fasted with ProLon’s Fast Mimicking Diet (FMD) last summer for the first time. This 5-day FMD helped us lose some quarantine weight gain and kickstart some healthy habits. ProLon’s parent company L-Nutra took the L-Bar from the FMD and created a stand alone Fast Bar to help with fasting.

wow, i was looking for something like this to add to my diet. Thanks for sharing.
This is the first time I’ve heard of intermittent fasting, and those snack bars look so delicious. We definitely need healthier food that will keep us full for a longer time.
Interesting. I usually eat RXBars but I would be open to trying these!
Cannot wait to pick these up and try them!
Snack bars like this are my holy grail!
