Our heels are higher than your glass ceiling. Are you looking for the best rooftops in Nomad? If so, then check out The Glass Ceiling. This pink wonderland opened its doors in May 2021 and is one of the best rooftops in Nomad. Real estate mogul Raizada “Pinky” Vaid, a partner in Refinery Hotel and Elsie Rooftop, founded The Glass Ceiling with Cate Luzio, Founder and CEO of Luminary, a membership-based career and personal growth platform for women. We are excited to share our experience at The Glass Ceiling, one of the best rooftops in Nomad, with you.
Best Rooftops in Nomad: The Glass Ceiling Decor
Calling all women from the glass slipper to the glass ceiling. The Glass Ceiling is one of the best rooftops in Nomad. This rooftop is located on Broadway between 29th and 30th. This chic pink and green oasis is open from 4:00PM to 9:00PM from Wednesday to Friday and 12:00PM to 9:00PM on Saturday and Sunday. This tropical rooftop features indoor and outdoor seating with lush plants, palm trees, pink and green sofas.
Of course one of the best rooftops in Nomad has a stunning photo op. The elevator opens to a gorgeous pink floral wall sponsored by Bodvár. We went to Bodvár’s National Rosé Day Party earlier this year at Elsie Rooftop. Bodvár is one of our favorite Rosés, and we even hosted a Bodvár Rose wine tasting at home.
Swinging through life. There’s also a floral swing, with an impressive view of the Empire State Building. This is the second photo op at one of the best rooftops in Nomad.
Best Rooftops in Nomad: What to Order to Drink at The Glass Ceiling?
Happy hour is the best hour at the best rooftops in Nomad. We started the night at The Glass Ceiling with a round of cocktails including The Luminary, Rosé Sangria and Happy Sangria .
Our favorite drink was the Rosé Sangria. This cocktail is served in a beautiful bird glass. It’s almost too pretty to sip. This sangria is made with blanco vermouth, fortified wine, passion fruit juice, elderflower syrup and Rosé syrup.
We also liked the Luminary, which is named after the Co-Founder’s namesake professional community for women. It has a touch of passion fruit purée, rhumbero, orange juice and a splash of brut.
I don’t do happy hour, I do happy hours. Our second round of drinks included the Watermelon and Basil, Sun in a Glass, Frozen Rosé and a glass of Rosé. Our favorite was the Watermelon and Basil with muddle watermelon, muddle basil, agave, lime juice, simple syrup and sparkling Rosé. If you prefer wine, we recommend a glass of Bodvár.
Best Rooftops in Nomad: What to Order to Eat at The Glass Ceiling?
Winner winner. Chicken dinner. We started with an order of Chicken Sliders and the Shrimp and Crab Roll. Both were delicious but the portion size of the sliders were much bigger than the rolls. The sliders actually felt more like a full sized chicken burger.
You mac me so happy. Next up we tried the Truffle Mac & Cheese. Sign us up for anything with truffles. This dish is quite rich, so definitely share it with the table.
You Burrata try it. We also ordered the Burrata, Tuna Tartare and Angel Hair Pasta. The Burrata was our favorite with heirloom tomatoes, sourdough, white balsamic pesto, and balsamic. The pasta had basil, garlic and aged parmesan. It was a large portion and quite filling too. The tuna was yummy but the portion size with smaller than the rest. Rest assured the food here one of the best rooftops in Nomad is a taste of heaven.
Be careful where you step. The glass ceiling is everywhere. We highly recommend a visit to The Glass Ceiling, one of the best rooftops in Nomad. The Glass Ceiling hosts launch parties and giveways that support female founded businesses. You can also check out our Outdoor Dining section for more recommendations.
Don’t try to squeeze into a glass slipper. Instead shatter the glass ceiling.
