Twinspirational celebrated Fête de la Musique at The Pierre Hotel’s Rosé Terrace. Fête de la Musique or Worldwide Music Day originated in Paris in 1982. It is annually celebrated on June 21st in over 500 cities around the world. Today Fête de la Musique is synonymous with enjoying delicious bites, libations and music outside. We are excited to share this Parisian-style street festival with you.
The music of Fête de la Musique was fantastic. We enjoyed live music courtesy of Crescent City Six.
As the evening continued, guests listened to the beats of DJ Neil Nice.
Executive Chef Ashfer Biju and his team prepared a delicious spread of hors d’oeuvres. Guests started with an artisanal sampler of specially-cured meats and pâtés, cheeses and homemade breads.
Guests also feasted on grilled octopus, salmon mousse as well as a raw bar filled with East Coast clams, oysters and shrimp.
Signature Red Bull cocktails were served all evening. Guests even tried the new Red Bull flavor – Coconut Berry.
The Rosé bar was fully stocked with Côtes de Provence Rosé by Miraval.
Executive Pastry Chef Michael Romano created mini desserts, including chocolate pastries, blueberry panna cotta, madelines, cheesecake and blueberry and mango sorbet pops. We had to try them all!
Thank you Melissa and Chef Ashfer for inviting us back to the Pierre’s Fête de la Musique. We had a wonderful evening this year and last year.
If you missed Fête de la Musique, we recommend checking out Smash Bash, A Celebration of Tennis, on Wednesday August 21st and Diwali, India’s Festival of Lights, on October 23rd.
