SERRA by Birreria is a seasonal restaurant, perched on Eataly’s rooftop in the Flatiron District. This season, the restaurant was transformed into SERRA Fiorita, a “flowering greenhouse” in the Italian countryside. This pink and white oasis was the perfect spot to celebrate National Rosé Day. We are excited to transport you to SERRA Fiorita.
Spring is in full bloom at SERRA Fiorita. Pink and white luscious florals adorn this colorful, feminine pink paradise. Executive Chef, Tom Bohan, sources ingredients from artisan Italian producers and local U.S. farms.
Since it was National Rosé Day, we put on our rosé colored glasses and started our brunch with a Sparkling Rosé.
Chef Bohan explained each course as it arrived to the table.
We started with the Funghi Marinati, Burrata and Granchio Fritto, which paired nicely with the sparkling rosé. Our favorite was the Granchio Friotto. The soft shell crab dipped in chili aioli was divine.
We shared a variety of mains, including the Gnocchi di Patate, Pollo and Trota. The Gnocchi with Pesto was rich and heavenly and we loved eating it with the crispy Chicken and fresh Trout.
We shared a Berry Panna Cotta for dessert. The fruit cut the creaminess of the panna cotta. It was delicious.
So stop and smell the Rosé at SERRA. Or better yet, stop and drink the Rosé. The blush haven is only around for a limited time. Check out Serra Fiorita before it transforms into its Fall rendition.
