Watermark is part of Merchants Hospitality Property, a hospitality group founded by Abraham Merchant. We visited Watermark Beach a few weeks ago and Watermark Winter Wonderland last winter as well as multiple sister restaurants, Ophelia, Merchants River House, Merchants Cigar Bar and Merchants NY.

Watermark Oktoberfest NYC: What to Order to Drink?
Beer me up buttercup. You can sip on authentic German beers including Hofbrau, Weihenstephan and Radeberger. You can also order mini kegs or purchase 1 liter or half liter steins. Cocktails and wine are also available for purchase. We sipped on lots of rosé while our guests sipped beer.

Watermark Oktoberfest NYC: What to Order for Lunch/Dinner?
I’m knot kidding. A full Oktoberfest menu is available a la carte or family style for the table. We started with jumbo pretzels that were served with Austrian pimento cheese dip, horseradish mustard and Radeberger cheese sauce. This pretzel was soft and salty and a bite of German heaven. The dipping sauces were fantastic. It’s pretty big, so expect leftovers.

You are the wurst. Our guests tried the Wurst Sampler, which was served with a warm potato salad.

Mac me so happy. The Gaffel’s Beer Mac and Cheese was rich, creamy and delicious. It has Weisslacker, fontina, gouda and garlic breadcrumbs.

Cry me a river. Beer Battered Onion Rings- can we say more. These onion rings were fried to perfection. Don’t even think about your diet today, save it for Monday.

Oktoberfest is all about making pour decisions. Head over to Watermark Oktoberfest NYC and celebrate this German festival in style. The beer, food, decor, staff and ambiance are all fantastic. This is the kind of place I like to visit. There was something similar in Michigan, a little town called Frankenmuth. We’d go several times a year. It was like it was Oktoberfest year round. 🙂
