Giorgio’s of Gramercy – A Standout Among the Best Italian Restaurants in Gramercy
Sorry this gift is pasta due. Giorgio’s of Gramercy is a hidden gem located in Gramercy, just a stone’s throw away from Flatiron. Giorgio’s of Gramercy is on 21st Street between 5th and Park Avenue South. The outdoor seating area is cozy and rustic. This alfresco cafe is decorated with lush green foliage, wooden accents and twinkling lights, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. We wrote about Giorgio’s of Gramercy when they first opened their outdoor dining too. The restaurant is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day at work or to grab a quick bite with friends. It’s also perfect for a happy hour, date night or group dinner.
Giorgio’s of Gramercy is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 12:00PM to 3:30PM and for dinner on Monday to Wednesday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, Thursday and Friday from 5:00PM to 11:00PM, Saturday from 5:00PM to 11:00PM and Sunday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM.
Creative Cocktails That Will Take Your Taste Buds on a Journey – Exploring Giorgio’s of Gramercy’s Unique Cocktail Menu
Sip happens. We started with a round of cocktails including the Saint Giorgio and Angry Bird. The Saint Giorgio is the signature cocktail at Giorgio’s of Gramercy. This cocktail is made with house infused mixed-berry vodka, St. Germaine and lime juice. We also tried the Angry Bird, which is made with house-infused jalapeño tequila, pamplemousse, lime juice, agave, and a salted rim. The jalapeño tequila added a subtle kick of heat to the drink, while the pamplemousse and lime juice provided a tart and tangy balance. Our friend, Rachel opted for a mocktail, and the bartender came up with a Nonalcoholic Gentian Spritz that was just as delicious.

Indulge in the Finest Italian Flavors and Mouthwatering Appetizers at Giorgio’s of Gramercy
You octopi my thoughts. For appetizers, we ordered three dishes to share. The first was the Charred Octopus, which came with chickpeas, roasted tomatoes, Swiss chard, blood orange reduction, and charred lemon. The octopus was perfectly cooked, and paired nicely with the tomatoes and Swiss chard.
One tough shucker. Next, we had the Roasted Bluepoint Oysters, which were served with black truffle compound butter, confit shallots, and chive mashed potatoes. The oysters were our favorite app. They were plump and juicy, and the truffle butter was a decadent addition.
You burrata know. We also tried the rich and creamy Truffle Burrata. This dish was served with baby arugula, fig jam, blood orange, and toasted pignoli nuts. The fig jam was a perfect complement to the burrata.
Savor the Taste of Italy with Magnificent Mains and Authentic Flavors at Giorgio’s of Gramercy
I walked right pasta and didn’t even notice! One of the standout dishes we enjoyed during our visit to Giorgio’s of Gramercy was the Fettuccine al Funghi, a delicious pasta dish that is a must-try for any mushroom lover. The wild mushroom ragu was rich and hearty, with a depth of flavor that perfectly complemented the tender and perfectly cooked fettuccine. The dish was finished with a drizzle of truffle oil, which added an earthy, aromatic note that took the dish to the next level.
It’s a hard Gnocc life for us. The Ricotta Gnocchi at Giorgio’s of Gramercy is one of the best in NYC. The pillowy soft gnocchi is made with ricotta cheese, which gives the pasta a tender texture and a subtle richness that perfectly complemented the bright flavors of the Pomodoro sauce. The dish was topped with creamy burrata, which added a luxurious and indulgent touch to the dish. The fresh basil provided a burst of herbal freshness, which balanced the richness of the cheese and the acidity of the Pomodoro sauce.
It’s glamborous. We balanced out the carbs of the fettuccine and gnocchi with the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb. This dish is always one of our favorites at Giorgio’s of Gramercy. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, with a crispy herb crust that added an earthy and aromatic flavor to the tender meat. The dish was served with roasted fingerling potatoes, rainbow baby carrots, and broccolini, which added color, texture, and flavor to the plate.
Indulge in Decadent Italian Desserts at Giorgio’s of Gramercy
I love you s’more each day. The S’More Bread Pudding at Giorgio’s of Gramercy is a dessert that is not to be missed. We order this decadent dessert every time we dine here. This rich, chocolatey bread pudding is topped with gooey marshmallow and a graham cracker garnish that adds a delightful crunch. The vanilla gelato adds a creamy and cool contrast to the warm and indulgent bread pudding, while the drizzle of caramel adds an extra layer of sweetness that will leave your taste buds singing. One bite of this dessert and you’ll be transported back to childhood memories of s’mores around the campfire, but with a sophisticated twist that is sure to impress.
Dining at Giorgio’s of Gramercy is a truly exceptional experience for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Italian cuisine in NYC. From the exceptional cocktails and extensive wine list to the mouthwatering appetizers, decadent mains, and irresistible desserts, every dish is crafted with precision and passion by the talented chefs at Giorgio’s. The restaurant’s cozy ambiance and attentive service only add to the overall dining experience. They also have an incredible catering menu, so consider ordering for a family meal or corporate dinner. We hosted many events with their catering menu (make sure to order the Chilean Sea Bass!) You guys look lovely in the picture and the food looks so good as well. Very interesting place to get drinks and food.
I can’t really tell a good cocktail from a bad one, but I’m willing to try new drinks. The dishes look splendid, though. I’m not much of a pasta person but the Burratta, Oysters, even the charred Octopus look really appetising! Great plating, too. My kind of resto.
